2025 Southline baseball playoff update
With the regular season wrapping up soon, we’re getting ready for the 8u, 10u, and 12u baseball playoffs!
Playoff games will tentatively begin on Monday, July 7th but — due to some very close races for playoff seeding — dates, times, and opponents have not yet been determined.
Note: 8u, 10u, and 12u All-Star games as well as our annual “Moving Up” game (for kids heading from coach pitch to machine pitch) will take place shortly after the conclusion of the playoffs for each division.
Here’s what we know so far.
8u Playoffs
-4-seed (TBD) will host 5-seed (Mets) in first round playoff game.
-1-seed (TBD) will host 4/5 winner in semifinal round. 2-seed (TBD) will host 3-seed (TBD) in the other semifinal game.
-Championship game between two semifinal winners will take place with higher seed serving as home team.
ROUND 1: Mets at 4
ROUND 2: 4/5 winner at 1, 3 at 2
ROUND 3: 8u Championship Game
10u Playoffs
-Athletics have clinched the 1-seed and will have a first round bye.
-2-seed will also have a bye. Expos can clinch 2-seed with a win over Cardinals on Tuesday at 8pm.
-3-seed (TBD) will host 6-seed (Braves) and 4-seed (TBD) will host 5-seed (TBD) in first round.
-Athletics will host lowest remaining seed in semifinal round. 2-seed will host other remaining team in semifinal round.
-Championship game between two semifinal winners will take place with higher seed serving as home team.
ROUND 1: 6 at 3, 4 at 5
ROUND 2: Lowest-seeded winner at Athletics, other winner at 2
ROUND 3: 10u Championship Game
12u Playoffs
-4-seed (TBD) will host 5-seed (Brewers) in first round playoff game.
-1-seed (Giants) will host 4/5 winner in semifinal round. 2-seed (Pirates) will host 3-seed (TBD) in the other semifinal game.
-Championship game between two semifinal winners will take place with higher seed serving as home team.
