Register now for MLB Pitch, Hit & Run

Once again this year, the skills competition at our annual picnic will be an official MLB Pitch, Hit & Run event. In order to participate, your child must be registered through the online portal linked below.

The picnic will take place on Saturday, July 26 at our facility on North Seine. The PHR event will run from 10am-2pm. There is no assigned time per age group.

WINNERS MAY BE ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE IN THE NEXT ROUND OF THE COMPETITION AT AN MLB STADIUM. The more registrants we have, the better chance that our event becomes an automatic qualifier which would send each of our division winners to the next round. (So even if you’re not sure your child will participate, please register nonetheless.

Here are the steps you’ll take in order to participate.

1. Register online

2. Show up between 10am and 2pm on 7/26 with a bat. Cleats or sneakers are recommended. Gloves and helmets are unnecessary.

3. Check in with one of our volunteers.

4. Participate in the three activities in any order, get graded on each, and wait for the results. “Pitch” involves throwing five balls at a target, “Hit” involves hitting five balls off a tee, and “run” is a timed sprint with each child getting two attempts and the better time counting.
